The 2015 Outdoor Photographer of the year competition has announced their shortlist of entries today. The judges will be making the final decisions for the competition on Friday the 13th. The 2015 competition is in its 5th year of running and has a first prize a trip to the Arctic on the Fjällräven Polar dog sled expedition. Each category winner will receive £200 cash and a Fjällräven Kaipak.
The winners will be announced at the Telegraph Outdoor Adventure & Travel Show, at London ExCel on Saturday 13th February 2016. All of the winning photos will be printed and displayed at the show.
The completion has 8 categories:
- Light on the land
- Wildlife insight
- Live the adventure
- At the water’s edge
- Small world
- Under exposed
- Spirit of travel
- Young OPOTY 2015 – Nature is my world
This year there is also going to be a book produced that will contain the winning images along with other selected entries. You can pre-order the book now, which will be released in early 2016. Entrants should find out if their image(s) are going to be included in the book next week.
